See the 21 apps Apple doesn’t want on your iPhone
Jailbreak iPhone apps and worthwhile productivity apps you won’t find at the App Store
Apple’s SDK and iTunes App Store rules have prohibited apps that exploit certain iPhone features, such as global UI enhancements (e.g., copy and paste), video recording and streaming, multimedia SMS, Bluetooth file sharing, Internet tethering, and background processing. Apple also blocks apps that don’t fit its vision for iPhone usability, including podcasting, direct GPS access, and competing e-mail and Web browser clients. The following 21 apps today run only on jailbroken iPhones. Some of their capabilities will ship with Apple’s 3.0 iPhone firmware, but most of them won’t.
Jailbreak iPhone apps: Clippy
Systemwide copy and paste. Clippy adds the long-desired ability to copy and paste text between applications. For example, you can copy an SMS message and paste it into an e-mail. Alas, Clippy does not work in Mobile Safari. Free

this list is a little out dated copy and paste is integrated into the 3.0 update the 3gs has video capabilities and apple just allowed a recorder app in the app store theirs tethering on the iphone also just not on AT&T snapture is an actual app that is in the app store now and it doesnt cost $8 searcher is in the 3.0 update. Apple approved the Ustream app which is just like qik and qik actually put in a request for their app and are waiting approval. Their is a VNC app and if u have mobile me then theirs an app that tracks your iphone
I imagine that’s another way to concieve it. I never considered thought I would hear you say this, however, after all your other blogs about iPhones!
